Pelican Flight Training celebrates instructor Daniel D. Oliveira Mendes from Brasília, Brazil, for earning his FAA Gold Seal in late September. This prestigious award recognizes his professionalism and strong student training results as an instructor on CPT and OPT. Daniel joined Pelican in 2022 as an international student, completed his training, and transitioned into teaching in 2024, becoming a steady, calm presence who turns stressful lessons into learning moments.

In December, on his last day, the team gathered for a warm farewell, thanking him for every hour, student uplift, and choice of patience over routine.
