Pelican Flight Training congratulates instructor Elorm Yao Amegashie from Accra, Ghana, on receiving his FAA Gold Seal in October. After joining in 2022, completing training, six months of CPT, and twelve months of OPT, he built 1,420 flight hours while actively teaching. This confirms Pelican graduates become excellent instructors, proving the path from applicant to professional works.

Elorm continues under OPT, helping new pilots achieve their wings and inspiring current students.

The staff and students at Pelican Flight Training are thrilled to congratulate our instructor, Elorm Yao Amegashie, on receiving the prestigious FAA Gold Seal privilege. Elorm joined the Pelican Flight Training family in 2022, traveling from his hometown of Accra, Ghana, to begin his aviation journey. His dedication and skill were evident throughout his training program. Upon graduation, Elorm began his career as an instructor, initially gaining experience during a 6-month Curricular Practical Training (CPT) period. Today, Elorm continues to demonstrate his commitment to excellence in flight instruction. He is currently working with us under a 12-month Optional Practical Training (OPT) authorization, helping a new generation of pilots achieve their wings. We are incredibly proud of Elorm’s professional growth and this significant achievement!
