This December, we mark the final day at Pelican Flight Training for one of our most dedicated team members, Daniel Oliveira Mendes.

From Brazil to the Flight Deck

Daniel’s journey with us began in 2022 when he arrived from Brazil to start his flight training. His progression was remarkable—moving quickly from student to instructor and consistently demonstrating a high level of professionalism.

During his time at Pelican, Daniel achieved the prestigious FAA Gold Seal Flight Instructor designation. He moves on to his next chapter with an impressive 2,100 total flight hours and a legacy of successful students.

A Steady Voice in the Cockpit

Beyond the numbers, Daniel has been a vital part of our community. He was more than just an instructor; he was a steady voice and a calm mind who made everyone around him better. We are deeply grateful for the patience and passion he brought to every briefing and every flight hour.

"People like you leave a mark long after the job is done—and you truly did."

As he steps into this next chapter, we want to thank him for his hard work and the positive impact he had on our school. We wish him nothing but the best in his future aviation career!

Wishing you clear skies and safe landings always.
