To kick off the new year, Pelican Flight Training hosted a cozy community gathering this January on our Florida campus. This event brought together our students and instructors to recharge and connect before a busy season of flights and training.

Pelican Flight Training January Gathering

The January meet-up was a perfect opportunity for our aviation family to step out of the cockpit and enjoy some downtime together. Over a casual lunch, students from different stages of their training shared tips, celebrated recent solo flights, and discussed their goals for 2026. It’s these moments of camaraderie that make the journey to becoming a pilot so rewarding.

Starting the Year with Strong Connections

At Pelican Flight Training, we know that a supportive community is key to success in aviation. Our January gathering highlighted the bond between our international students, providing a space to build friendships that go beyond the classroom. Whether it’s sharing a meal or a flight deck, the spirit of collaboration remains at the heart of everything we do.

Looking Ahead to a Great Year

We are excited to see what our students will achieve in the coming months. From first solos to commercial checkrides, we’ll be here to celebrate every milestone. This small January gathering was just the beginning of a year filled with passion, hard work, and, of course, many more reasons to celebrate as a community.

Wishing you clear skies and safe landings always.
