Pelican Flight Training is a US FAA Certified Part 141 Flight School and Fixed Base Operator, offering both Fixed-Wing and Rotary-Wing training. We have been approved by both the United States’ Federal Aviation Administration and the Federal Air Transport Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Our school is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC) for the Professional Pilot Program “A” (Airplanes) and Professional Pilot Program “H” (Helicopters). While we cannot guarantee that our students will be able to obtain a job at one of the world’s leading airlines, we are proud to say that our graduates do go on to have fruitful careers in aviation. Practical Training

Flight safety is paramount, which is why most every job in the aviation industry requires for the beginning, at least one year of experience.

After completing the Cpl (approximately 250 hours), pilots need to accumulate more than 1000 hours to reach the level for application to commercial airlines (1500 hours minimum). READ MORE

After graduating, we choose our best instructors to work and teach in our flight school. These can also decide to apply for jobs in the aviation to build time and experience. As an accredited flight school, our programs will earn you credits towards your future aviation degree. So whether you’re interested in converting your license to meet FAA standards or seeking a premier CFI course to train as a flight instructor, Pelican Flight Training is your home base. More than 90% of our Professional Pilot Program students are hired upon graduation, and eight out of nine students graduate our program successfully.

Furthermore, a great opportunity for our students is the B.A / M.A in Riga Aeronautical Institute. These are credited for their flight training and continue on to climb up the ladder as they are hired in commercial airlines.
