Pelican Flight Training is the best school around. I've tried other schools but Pelican is the most professional in my personal opinion. The atmosphere is so positive, the instructors are all so nice and friendly. I just passed my Instrument Rating at Pelican and my instructor Adrian was TERRIFIC! I am so looking forward to going back to start my commercial with them.

FAQ about Pelican reviews

Are these reviews verified?

Yes. Every review on this page comes from a current student or graduate of Pelican Flight Training. We pull testimonials from Google Maps, Yelp, BestAviation and AccreditedSchool, and we keep the original platform link for each review so you can verify it independently.

Where else can I find Pelican Flight Training reviews?

You can read more reviews on Google Maps, Yelp, BestAviation and AccreditedSchool.reviews. AOPA and BBB profiles are in progress.

Why are most reviews 5 stars?

Pelican Flight Training has been operating since 1985 with the same family ownership. Pilots tend to leave reviews after a milestone such as first solo, checkride pass or CFI hire, so the rating skews positive. We do publish constructive critical feedback when we receive it, with our response.

Does Pelican Flight Training have a helicopter program?

Yes. We offer the full helicopter pilot pathway on Schweizer 300C: PPL-H, IR-H, CPL-H, CFI-H, and the full Professional Pilot Program H. Our helicopter graduates work as tour, EMS and flight-school instructors across Florida and the wider USA.

Can I talk to a current student before applying?

Yes. Message us on WhatsApp and we will connect you with a current student in the program you are considering.

Is Pelican accredited?

Yes. Pelican Flight Training is FAA Part 141 approved and ACCSC accredited. We are SEVP-certified to issue I-20 forms for both M-1 and F-1 student visas.
