Do you accept international students?
Yes, Pelican Flight Training is authorized under Federal law to enroll non-immigrant alien students. We provide support for M-1 and F-1 visa applications to help you train in the USA.
What are the medical requirements?
To fly as a pilot, you must obtain an FAA Medical Certificate. For commercial pilots, a First Class Medical is typically required. We recommend getting this cleared before you begin intensive training.
Do I need a 4-year degree to be a pilot?
No, a degree is not required to get your commercial pilot license. While some major airlines used to prefer it, the industry now focuses almost entirely on your flight hours, skills, and safety record.

How much does it cost to get a Private Pilot License?

What aircraft will I be flying?
Our fleet primarily consists of Cessna 152 and Cessna 172 aircraft for primary training, as well as multi-engine aircraft for advanced ratings. These are the most reliable and widely used training planes in the world.
