Egor Kalachev is an experienced aviation professional serving as Assistant Chief Instructor at Pelican Flight Training, with over 2,700 hours of total flight time. He completed all of his pilot training at Pelican, progressing through every license from PPL to MEI, which gives him a deep understanding of exactly what each student goes through at every stage.
After earning his CFI, Egor joined the school as an instructor and now provides instruction across PPL, IR, CPL, SEL, MEL, CFI, CFII, and MEI programs. He is currently expanding his expertise by pursuing helicopter training — a testament to his ongoing commitment to aviation excellence.
With over 2,700 hours of flight experience and more than 60 students successfully passed through FAA check rides from PPL to MEI, Egor brings dedication and precision to every lesson.
